1. INTRODUCTION

Your privacy and the security of your personal information are very important to us. This Privacy Policy describes how My Interview Practice, LLC, a limited liability company governed by the laws of State of New York, USA (the "Company," "we," “our,” or "us"), collects, stores, uses and discloses Personally Identifiable Information (defined below) from users of the Platform and/or Services, as those terms are defined in our Terms of Use, located at myinterviewpractice.com/terms-of-use (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you consent to our practices of collecting, storing, using, and disclosing your Personally Identifiable Information. If you are an individual using our Services, then "you," "your," or “yours” will refer and apply to you. If you are using our Services on behalf of an entity that you have been authorized to represent, "you," "your," or “yours” will refer and apply to that entity. If you do not agree with and consent to all the practices described in this Privacy Policy, please discontinue accessing and using the Services immediately.

Please bear in mind that this Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by the Company via the Services. We are not responsible for (i) the privacy of any information you reveal to other users when you share your Content with them, or (ii) the privacy practices of websites and applications that are operated or owned by third parties.

2. DEFINITIONS

3. WHAT INFORMATION IS COLLECTED, HOW IT IS USED AND WHEN IT IS SHARED

  • Account Registration: We collect your name and email to identify you and send updates or marketing offers.
  • Interview Videos: We store videos you record for your review. You assume responsibility if you share them.
  • Video Comments: We store comments for sharing with other users. You are responsible for shared content.
  • Resume Upload: Used to generate interview questions via OpenAI. Only resume content is shared securely with OpenAI.
  • Suggestions/Feedback: All feedback you submit becomes the property of the Company and is treated as non-confidential.
  • Payments: Processed via PayPal. We store only your billing address, email, and phone number.
  • Cookies: Used to manage sessions and improve experience. Disabling cookies may impair functionality.
  • Google Analytics: Used to collect non-personal data like device, visit time, and interactions. Google Privacy Policy.
  • Facebook Pixel: Used for remarketing and interest-based ads. Facebook Privacy Policy.
  • Email Marketing: We and MailChimp may send marketing content. You can unsubscribe anytime. MailChimp Privacy Policy.
  • Business Transfers: Your data may be transferred in a merger or bankruptcy situation.

5. Security

The security of your information is important to us. We use the latest commercially-reasonable efforts to store and maintain your information in a secure environment. We have implemented and continue to update these and other commercially-reasonable procedures designed to limit unauthorized access, use or disclosure of your information. We follow strict password requirements and OWASP guidelines for secure coding.

You are also responsible for helping us protect the security of your Personally Identifiable Information. For instance, never give out your password, and remember to log out of your Account when you are finished using the Services.

Notwithstanding our efforts, no security is entirely impenetrable, and to that end, we disclaim any liability in connection with a breach of our security.

6. Location of Servers

If you access the Services outside the United States, please note that we will store any information about you referenced in this Privacy Policy, including your Content, on servers hosted by AWS and that those servers are located in the United States.

7. Your Rights With Regard to Information We Collect About You

8. Data Retention

Your Personally Identifiable Information will be erased when: (i) it is no longer needed for its original purpose; (ii) you withdraw your consent for us to store your information by deleting your Account; (iii) there is no justified reason for the processing of your Personally Identifiable Information and you object to our processing of it; or (iv) erasure is required to fulfill a statutory obligation under EU, U.S., or state law.

Under any of the above circumstances, we will make sure your information is erased. You may request erasure verbally or in writing, and we will respond within a month.

9. Minors Policy

The age of majority varies by jurisdiction, but is usually 18. Minors may only use the Services with an Account registered and authorized by a parent or legal guardian.

10. Compliance with Laws

Our Privacy Policy complies with the strictest privacy laws, including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. If you disagree with any changes, please stop using the Services and delete your Account.

This Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use, and any other supplemental policies constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the subject matter, replacing any prior discussions or agreements.
